Guarantee Is Valid For 12 Months From Installation

This guarantee covers workmanship for a period of 12 months from the date of installation (installation must be proven). Should any motor repaired by AFRICAN REWINDERS (PTY) LTD be found to be faulty within the 6-month workmanship guarantee period, AFRICAN REWINDERS (PTY) LTD will inspect and test the motor to determine the cause of the fault.

African Rewinders (Pty) Ltd is primarily engaged in the repair, rewinding and service of AC multiphase and DC electrical motors and pumps.

Mechanical Guarantee.

We are not responsible for a shaft failure if belts were over tightened, motor is misaligned or if the shaft has metal fatigue. If work has been done on the shaft by AFRICAN REWINDERS (PTY) LTD, we will advise beforehand if shaft has fatigue. If work has been done by AFRICAN REWINDERS (PTY) LTD on the shaft and it fails it can be warranty claim.

If end-shields were re-sleeved by AFRICAN REWINDERS (PTY) LTD and the sleeve comes out of the journal, we can be held responsible. If an end-shield wears further, investigation will be done (most likely over tightening or misaligned)

If bearing fail due to a faulty bearing, it will be a warrant claim. It is not a warranty claim if the bearing had run dry or if water came into the journal or the belts was over tightened or misaligned
